Program Description

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Program is designed to teach and test knowledge of resuscitation protocols for children as outlined by guidelines established by the American Heart Association. It is expected that all participants have current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support from the AHA and a general understanding of emergency care of pediatric patients. Successful completion of the PALS Provider Program includes four skill stations – AED, dysrhythmia management, shock and airway management – as well as one written exam. Passing score for the Core Content exam is 84% (33 questions). PALS Provider cards issued are valid for a two year period of time.

Note: No deposit is required if you are affiliated with Northside Hospital - Atlanta, Northside Hospital - Forsyth, Northside Hospital - Cherokee, North Fulton Regional Hospital, and BMTG of GA.

**Registrants cancelled up to two days prior to classes are subject to a cancellation fee. No refunds after that date. Non-Refunded cancellation fees may be applied to a future course. After successfully submitting your online registration form, upon receiving your deposit, we will grant you access to the course study materials (if applicable).
